Volunteering during your travel allows you to learn the culture and be a part of it.
It could be helping in an organic farm, teaching children in a local school, helping community to lay a road, cleaning village, teaching the community on sustainable practices, or be part of a self help group engaged in women empowerment.
Just share your efforts or skills, learn and be part of the local culture. Most will offer you food and accommodation in return for the services. Some organisations will take small donations for facility provided.
A five day week will give you plenty of time during weekend for your travel in and around the place. Will it be good to holiday with cause ??
