Community give back policy is one of the pillars EarthCare is being built.Â
We believe in supporting the community by giving back whenever there is a need. During the second wave of the Corona in India, Kerala state was one of the most affected state. And the village we live in had the highest number of daily corona cases in our district.Â
Being an essential commodity to keep hygiene, we decided to give out soaps which we make to all corona affected families in our ward (area). Our Panchayath ward member Mr. Baby Chacko collected the soaps from our warehouse and handed them over to all affected families along with other essentials like rice and pulses, all of which was generously donated by the local citizens.
In these trying times, we also got a chance to support CMID, an NGO which works towards a better living for the migrant labourers in Kerala. It was through a LinkedIn post that we got connected with Mr. Benoy Peter of CMID and came to know about their requirements for essential supplies to needy families. Our give back did not end up with just soaps, but we were able to provide quality leaf tea also sufficient for around 150 families. Our thanks to Mr. Liby Johnson of Gram Vikas who connected CMID with us.
We are happy and proud that we are always able to adhere to our motto, Better living- Responsibly.
