Grama
GRAMA is a project initiated by ‘Earthcare’, a locally-run enterprise that works to support the village community through initiatives in crafts, nature products and responsible businesses. Grama means “village” in Sanskrit and the word is synonymous with all the products they sell. All GRAMA products are crafted in villages. Grama works with different groups, organizations, individuals, and women Self Help Groups (SHGs) to create sustainable products and communities.
In 2007, the project GRAMA was brought to life in Poochakkal, a small village near Alappuzha, Kerala. GRAMA was created with the aim of empowering and partnering with the local community to produce eco-friendly products and revive traditional crafts.

Our mission is to create a world where traditional crafts are valued and celebrated, where people are inspired to make conscious choices, and where everyone has the opportunity to thrive by offering premium, all-natural products to our customers.
Vision
We strive to empower local communities, promote traditional crafts, and inspire a better lifestyle through the offering of premium products to our customers. Our ultimate vision is to create a sustainable and equitable world.
